The Daira Pole or stoned built tower  is located at Chhatral vilage of Tehsil Mendhar of District Poonch. It is 8 kilometre at the distance from the Tehsil Headquarters Mendhar.

It is a decades old belief that it (Daira) had been built by Devo or Powerful  Jinnat 

Whom It Built

It was not built by the humans.But it was being built up by the Jinnat [the ghosts] before the presence of the human being on the earth.


The Reason Of Its Construction

It is well to be said that on this very place the jinnats superior family was being lived.One day a female jnni visited there from the valley of Kashmir. She told  about beauty of the Kashmir. The hosted family was  so happy and impressed by her words about the world's paradise . Meanwhile, young one female jin requested to show her the Kashmir to her male jin friend. Because she never been able to walk on her foot. She was prisoned by some power full jin there. So her belover met with some other power full jinat and started an unbelievable construction of this so long polar to fulfil her beloved wish of looking of the sight of Kashmir. It is said that this jin had succeeded to built the pole and sighted the Kashmir to her friend.

A well known young Educstionist, Mr. Safeer Ahmed Qureshi said, " It is so truely being said that the 'Daira Pole' is being built up by Fired Creature, the Jinnat but what the reason behind it and why it was built up, the actual point cannot be judged. But whatever  its reason to be,it's ofcourse an attractive sign for the modern thinkers or researchers.


The Current Condition Of The Daira

The current or present condition of this one polar is not much attractable because due to the Earthquake  it has collapsed down.But round about 8 to 9 feet height of it is still alive and the genious men and the opposite sex  are compelled to look  and consider  it well.
